Mindy McEachran’s techniques and beliefs draw on her extensive experience working with adults, teens, and children. She employs EMDR, Art Therapy, Restorative Justice, and traditional talk therapy as suits the client and their individual needs. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in illustration and design from the prestigious Center for Creative Studies in Detroit, Mindy began her career working as a designer for top athletic and nutrition companies. Her time in those industries helped her to understand the high pressure environments that those employees work in and she felt a need to help people under intense pressure and stress.

Mindy then obtained her Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy, working with juvenile offenders during her time as an intern. This time was also enormously influential in her beliefs and practices, leading her toward Restorative Justice philosophies she would continue to hone and refine. She also began to work with high-level athletes eager to overcome psychological barriers to greater achievement.

With the belief that it was time to merge her skill sets, Mindy obtained her teaching credential and became a middle school art teacher, finding the classroom a marvelous place to use art therapy techniques to help struggling students navigate the complications of adolescence and various challenges at home. The school, aware that she was capable of grand things, allowed her to expand her work beyond her classroom and she created multiple venues for students to emotionally heal and excel. She created a student Zen Garden, a Wellness Center, Restorative Justice peer counseling teams, and brought in the school’s first ever therapy dog, a Great Dane named Ziggy.

Mindy cultivated further expertise in all of these practices, training extensively with various experts in Restorative Justice, before being invited to serve on the Restorative Justice Resources board. She has been a leader at seminars for educators and county awareness campaigns in incorporating these beliefs toward great healing, growth and success.

Having moved to Oregon in the summer of 2024, Mindy decided to work with individuals on their journeys to wellness with her diverse skill sets and experiences. Along with her for those who would like to have even more support, is Ziggy.
