Yazmin Cardena, LPC

Yazmin Cardena is a 48-year-old Licensed Professional Counselor living in Texas and working for the state of Oregon. Her professional experience spans a variety of settings including outpatient specialty clinics, crisis intervention, structured outpatient programs, and private practice. She has a vast clinical experience working with individuals and groups across the lifespan in areas such as Depression and Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Behavioral and Discipline Challenges, and many others. Cardena emphasizes the mutual development of goals for therapy and celebrates the courage it takes to begin this process. She is a firm believer in the effectiveness of therapy and supports her clients in overcoming obstacles in their recovery journey.

In addition to her primary focus areas, Cardena has spent nine years in practice with special attention to stress, anxiety, addictions, relationship issues, and family conflicts. She also deals with a broad range of other concerns including trauma, abuse, grief, intimacy-related issues, eating disorders, and more.
